从 XBMC 14 开始XBMC开源软件被重新命名为 Kodi 娱乐中心，Kodi 14 是第一次发布版本。

安装，有PPA可用，支持Ubuntu 14.10、14.04、12.04，deepin 2014，Elementary OS 0.2，linuxmint 17等系统及衍生版本，打开终端输入以下命令：
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:team-xbmc/xbmc-nightly
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install kodi
卸载 kodi 命令：
sudo apt-get remove kodi
